Vacation in Savannah
Written by MichaelZ on July 30, 2009 – 2:10 am -Savannah is a lovely city, a great place for romantics and history buffs. Savannah is the oldest and most tenderly preserved city in Georgia. It has long history of Southern charm and hospitality. Its a town of cobble stone roads and elegant mansions with gardens of camellias, azaleas, and roses beneath oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Savannah is a perfect vacation spot for anyone in search of history, warm weather, fun, and something different. To accomodate its guests, the city has many Savannah bed and breakfast hotels to choose from.
To really appreciate its downtown area, enjoy a carriage tour, a ghost tour, or simply walk around. There are dozens of designated points of interest, and you won’t have trouble catching a few stories from the local residents.
The inner city is part of the 1,400 historically and architecturally important buildings making Savannah one of America’s largest urban historic districts. After a day touring Savannah, book a seat on the River Street Riverboat Company’s cruises where you can enjoy live entertainment, dancing and even thematic dinner cruises.
Your Savannah vacation agenda should include some of the following attractions: the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, the Ships of the Maritime Museum, Skidaway Island State Park. You may also like to see the locations of 68 movie sites on a Savannah Movie Tour or try out one of the Ghost Tours or Haunted tours given each evening.
If you’d like to enjoy the beach, Tybee Island makes for a great day trip. Take a trolley ride, bus, or car ride and spend a few hours basking in the sun. This fun little place will whet your appetite for all things southern, and the pier and pavilion make for great people-watching opportunities. After you’ve had your fill of the beach, it’ll be nice to return to the mainland for an evening of blues or jazz, and you won’t have far to go to return to your Savannah Georgia bed and breakfast or one of the many Savannah Motels.

Written by MichaelZ on July 30, 2009 – 2:10 am -There is hardly anything more romantic than taking a vacation together with your loved one, which is why going on a honeymoon is the perfect post-wedding activity. While a honeymoon is special in itself, it can be made even more unforgettable by choosing a romantic destination. Having trouble deciding? If so, choose from these top destinations in Europe.
Prague
The city of Prague, which is the capital of the Czech Republic, is considered one of the most romantic places in the world, and is therefore, a top honeymoon destination. During the day, you can visit many amazing attractions, such as Prague Castle and the St. Nicolas Cathedral. At night, you can enjoy a quiet stroll on winding cobblestone streets lit by old-fashioned street lamps, snuggle in a horse-drawn carriage or take a rowboat down the Vltava River while soaking up the rich, romantic atmosphere.
You can also take your loved one to Bruges, Tallinn, Florence, Rome, and of course, the romance capital of the world - Paris, France. All these cities are havens for couples where you and your loved one can enjoy many beautiful sights together on your European romantic getaways or simply cuddle up on a bench and watch the world go by.
Most Romantic Hotel - The Hotel de la Cite
There are many romantic hotels in Europe but if you really want to be treated like royalty or get a fairy tale experience, staying at the Hotel de la Cite is a fantastic idea. Located in Carcassonne, France, the Hotel de la Cite is actually a well-preserved castle located in a medieval citadel, which means you’ll get to enjoy spectacular views while going up and down spiral staircases and strolling through formal gardens. The individually furnished hotel rooms and suites are equipped with the latest amenities, though, including Wi-Fi access, satellite TV, a video recorder and even a laptop computer available upon request.
Le Manoir aux Quat Saisons, Oxfordshire
For a gastronomic treat in a truly romantic setting, let your European romantic getaways take you to the Le Manoir restaurant. Although tucked away in the village of Oxfordshire in southeast England, the Le Manoir is well-known throughout the world for its excellent cuisine designed by master chef Raymond Blanc. In fact, it has received two Michelin stars - a recognition reserved only for restaurants that offer great food, service and ambience.
Most Romantic Beach - Papa Cove
Many tourists flock to the Carribean or South America at the mention of beautiful beaches. However, Europe has its share of romantic beaches, like Papa Cove, a small, idyllic cove tucked away at the eastern shore of the Greek island of Ios. Couples are sure to love enjoying the sun on its half-moon stretch of warm golden sand or watching the waves while sitting side by side under the shade of the walls of rock, which also provide a shield from prying eyes and noisy crowds.
St. Moritz Ski Resort, Switzerland
Do you want to spend your honeymoon in a winter wonderland? Then go to St. Moritz ski resort in Switzerland. Nestled in the Swiss Alps right in the middle of the breathtaking Engadine lake region, the St. Moritz ski resort offers great slopes, as well as many panoramic hotels and restaurants so you can have a romantic dinner or snuggle in front of a fire after a day of skiing.
These are just some great honeymoon destinations for your European romantic getaways, all of which are perfect places for making memories that last a lifetime. Indeed, what matters most is that you and your loved have a great time together, so that even when you return home, the honeymoon will still go on for years to come.

Fabulous Entertainment and a Charming Hotels
Written by MichaelZ on July 29, 2009 – 4:42 pm -One of the best card tricks around is the Four Aces. It is important to learn the card trick step by step. First, the deck should be thoroughly shuffled in front of the audience. Second, the deck must be separated into four different stacks. The stacks must have an equal number of cards. After the cards have been separated, the four aces of each suit – hearts, clubs, diamonds, and spades – should be placed on the bottom of each pile. Then, the magician can easily find the aces in the stacks. Put each stack on top of the other. Then, count down the cards until you reach an ace. Continue to do this until you reach all of the aces. Audiences will wonder how you found each ace so easily and without looking at the face of the cards. This is a fun and great way to entertain family or friends.
The Florida Lottery has some of the biggest prizes in the country. In the Powerball game players can win millions of dollars. Also, the Florida Lotto has huge millions to win as well. The Mega Money game has a bit of a smaller jackpot, usually in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Smaller jackpot games are in the Florida Lottery as well, like the Fantasy 5, Play 4, and Cash 3. Some of their scratch-off tickets include prizes like a brand new Ford Mustang or licensed Mustang merchandise. Most of the money gained by the Florida Lottery goes into the education system. Just in 2008, the Florida Lottery donated over 1.28 billion dollars to the education fund. Other sources that receive funds from the lottery include a program called Bright Futures. Bright Futures is a scholarship program that gives funds to needy teens on their way to college. The Florida Lottery has donated 2.3 billion dollars over the years.
The Fitzgerald Hotel, located in the Union Square area of San Francisco, is one of the most charming hotels in the nation. First established all the way back in 1910, the hotel was renovated just in 2003. The Double Deluxe rooms at the Fitzgerald Hotel are filled with tons of original artwork. Plush comforters grace the beds, and great faux painting on the walls give the rooms a comfortable and cozy feel. In the hotel’s lobby, the Hidden Vine Wine Bar is a great place to make a stop for a cocktail or to taste some of the local wines.
