A survey conducted by Properties Abroad, an agency specialising in overseas property found that there have been more enquiries and purchases of Canadian homes by Brits then ever before. The firms director, Erin Walker said “we have currently be doing a lot of research into the area and it seems Canada is popular choice for the UK market”.You can purchase an acre of prime estate at the Rouge River resort for around £20,000 which lies in the grounds of the Laurentian Mountains.  Add to this the fact that building materials and labour are very reasonable at the moment, many people can pick up a bargain that they can enjoy for years to come. All this means that it has never been easier enjoy Canada holidays every year.

On top the property bargains, the beautiful and vast natural surrounds provide leisure and sporting activity heaven.The river at the Rouge resort for instance is home to some top class brook, brown and sea trout fishing. There are a vast amount of water sports available at lakes dotted around the various resorts and most provide ice fishing facilities in the winter.Hundreds of miles of bicycle tracks can be found snaking around the edges of the rivers and these transform into amazing skidoo tracks when there is snow about.
